PLEASE NOTE the call for papers for International Conference on Language Testing and Assessment is now closed.
International Conference on Language Testing and Assessment, jointly organized by the National Education Examinations Authority (NEEA), Ministry of Education, China and Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU), will be held in Beijing, China, on December 1-2, 2018, with a pre-conference workshop on November 30, 2018.

Call for Papers
Proposals are now invited on the theme of this conference: Language Assessment in the New Era: Innovation and Integration. Preference will be given to research proposals clearly related to one or more of the areas listed below.
- Application of language proficiency standards in teaching and assessment
- Aligning tests to language proficiency standards
- Artificial intelligence in language testing and assessment
- Classroom-based language testing and assessment
- Language testing and assessment for the workplaces
- Assessment literacy for language teachers
- Other topics related to language testing and assessment
For proposal submission, please go to "Submit Paper". The proposal should be no more than 300 words in English. If the presentation will be given in Chinese, please submit the proposal BOTH IN ENGLISH AND CHINESE with no more than 300 words respectively.
Deadline for proposal submission is August 31, 2018. Acceptance notifications will be sent out by September 21, 2018.
Each presenter will be given 20 minutes to present and 10 minutes for Q&A.

Registration fee:
Two-day conference: RMB 1000 yuan for regular participants and RMB 500 yuan for full-time students.
One-day pre-conference workshop: RMB 800 yuan for regular participants and RMB 400 yuan for full-time students.
Students are required to show their ID cards during the onsite registration.
